Just announced the 19th Annual Cafe Racer Ride-In Custom Bike Show
date has been set for Saturday, August 15th. The day-long
festivities will take place at the usual spot in Sewickley’s War
Memorial Park, located just outside of Pittsburgh. Doors open at 10
am and the event promises to be a real barn burner with top
nationwide custom cafe builders competing for over $10,000 in prizes
including custom-fit Lewis Leathers jackets, Avon tires,
Motocomposites carbon fiber accessories and more.

The show is being staged on a Saturday this year for the first time, as Sunday dates often left folks facing a compromise between making it to the Ride-In Show or attending to the many other weekend summertime attractions on offer. With many attendees traveling great distances from neighboring states, a Saturday date allows everyone plenty of time to make it back home before Monday.

New this year will be a live Two-Wheeled trivia contest where riders can test their knowledge of odd facts and obscure history of our favorite sport against all comers. The trivia quiz articles now regularly appearing in CRM have quickly become among our most popular features and this year’s Ride-In Show presented a perfect opportunity to roll out a live version of the brain-burning challenges before a live and very knowledgeable audience. Though we clearly streets temperance during the event, our main sponsor this year is Lucky Sign Spirits. The local craft spirits distillery has bene providing the show’s individual class winners with bottles of its superb liquor for years now, and they’ll be on site offering small samples and tips of serving cocktails made from their blends all day. Virginia’s premiere aftermarket cafe racer parts manufacturer Cognito Moto will be back for this year’s show as well, displaying their latest custom bolt-on bits and recently completed custom rides.

As more sponsors and vendors come aboard, we’ll be listing them along with other fun updates here at  www.caferacermag.com as well as our social channels (Instagram @mikeseate and facebook.com/caferacermagofficial.

get those wrenches spinning and be ready for the best custom show anywhere.
