D.C. Bound

January 8, 2020 | By Mike Seate

A great means of breaking up winter’s monotony is upon us as the CRM crew are headed South to the Washington, D.C. Progressive International Motorcycle Show. Stop by our booth to say hello, shoot the breeze, check out one of the more recent shop builds and pick up some cool swag we have on offer. At both this event at the Cleveland IMS slated for the last weekend in January, you can sign up to win a sweet Vanson Manx leather jacket with the drawing to be held at this coming August’s Reader’s ride-In Custom Bike Show here in Sewickley, PA. There’s always pnety of jaw-dropping eye candy at these events from the latest new retro and factory cafe bikes from the manor (and some minor) manufacturers, the latest aftermarket bits for your ride and a classic bike display area to check out. Each of the three days this coming weekend, I’ll be staging seminars on selecting the best options for a cafe custom donor bike, relating some of the successes- and outright disasters- we’ve experienced in 12 years of building motorcycles in the pages of the magazine. Check out the show schedule for seminar times at www.motorcycleshows.com and remember- Cafe Racer magazine readers can purchase tickets in advance for a $3 discount by entering the code CAFE20. See you there!
